Yoga supports your treatment — it never replaces it. Please talk to your oncologist before starting, and keep following your medical team’s advice.

How it can help

Small, gentle practices for the hardest days — and the better ones.

Calmer mind

Slow breathing and guided relaxation to ease anxiety, low mood and the stress of scans and appointments.

Gentle movement

Soft, supported postures that keep joints moving and help you feel at home in your body again.

Better rest

Wind-down practices that many people find help with sleep and the heavy tiredness that can follow treatment.

At your pace

Every session is adjusted to how you feel that day — some days movement, some days only breath and rest.

What the research says

Recommended by cancer-care guidelines — for how you feel, not as a cure.

Anxiety and depression

The Society for Integrative Oncology and ASCO guideline (2023) recommends yoga to help reduce anxiety and depression in adults with cancer, both during and after treatment.

Fatigue after treatment

The ASCO and SIO fatigue guideline (2024) says clinicians may recommend yoga to reduce cancer-related fatigue after treatment, especially for women who have had breast cancer.

Most studies so far involve people with breast cancer, and results vary from person to person. Your oncologist is the best person to advise you.

Where you are now

The practice changes with you.

  1. 01

    During treatment

Short, very gentle sessions around chemotherapy, radiotherapy or hormone therapy cycles — mostly breathing, relaxation and supported stretches, often lying down or seated.

  2. 02

    After surgery or treatment

Once your doctor clears you, a gradual return to movement: range of motion, posture, balance and building stamina, with care for scars, ports and lymph nodes.

  3. 03

    Living beyond cancer

A steady home practice for strength, flexibility and calm — and a routine that helps you feel like yourself again.

  4. 04

    For caregivers

Caring for someone is exhausting. Short breathing and relaxation sessions for family members, on their own or alongside.

Safety first

Planned around your treatment, not the other way round.

Before your first session we go through your diagnosis, treatment and any precautions from your doctors, and your trainer receives a clear brief. If anything changes, tell us — the plan changes too.

  • We need your doctor’s go-ahead before you start, and again after surgery or a change in treatment.
  • After lymph-node surgery or with lymphoedema, arm work is introduced slowly; wear any compression sleeve you’ve been prescribed.
  • With bone involvement or osteoporosis, we avoid deep forward bends, strong twists and anything that loads the spine.
  • Around ports, drains, stomas or recent scars, we avoid pressure and stretching on the area.
  • When blood counts are low or you have a fever, we pause or keep to breathing only — and avoid crowded spaces.
  • With numbness in hands or feet (neuropathy), balance work is done close to a wall or chair.

How it works

Four calm steps.

  1. 1

    Free consultation

A 30-minute conversation about your diagnosis, treatment stage, energy and goals. No pressure, no jargon.

  2. 2

    Doctor’s go-ahead

We ask you to check with your oncologist and share any precautions they give — we plan around them, never around them.

  3. 3

    Your plan

A therapeutic yoga trainer builds a plan for you: session length, what to avoid, and a short practice for between sessions.

  4. 4

    Gentle sessions

At home or online, one-to-one. Feeling unwell? Move or skip the session — just tell us.

At home

A trainer visits you, with props — no travel on tiring days.

Online, anywhere in India

Live, one-to-one on Google Meet — ideal when immunity is low.

Is yoga safe during chemotherapy or radiotherapy?

For many people, gentle yoga is possible during treatment when it is adapted and cleared by their oncologist. Sessions are usually short, slow and supported, and change with each treatment cycle. We will always follow your medical team’s advice — if they say rest, we rest.

Can yoga treat or cure cancer?

No. Yoga is not a treatment for cancer and never replaces medical care. It is a supportive practice that may help with how you feel — stress, mood, sleep, stiffness and tiredness — alongside the treatment your doctors recommend.

What does the research say?

Clinical guidelines from the Society for Integrative Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology recommend yoga to help reduce anxiety and depression in adults with cancer, during and after treatment, and say clinicians may recommend it for fatigue after treatment. Most of the evidence comes from people with breast cancer, and benefits vary from person to person.

I’ve never done yoga and I’m very tired. Can I still join?

Yes. No experience or flexibility is needed. Many sessions are done lying down or seated, with cushions and props, and some are mostly breathing and relaxation.

Do you come home? What about infection risk?

Yes — home sessions are available in our service areas, and online sessions anywhere in India. When your immunity is low, we recommend online sessions, and home trainers must be well, wash hands on arrival and reschedule if they have any symptoms.

How much does it cost?

We’ll recommend a plan after your free consultation — usually a short series of one-to-one sessions. Prices are shared upfront, and you can reschedule around treatment days.
